Upstairs Deliveries
Deliveries to upper floors will incur an additional charge of £20 per floor, payable by either the sender or the receiver. It is essential to notify us beforehand if the delivery involves upstairs access. Failure to do so may result in the item not being delivered.
Downstairs Deliveries
For flats and apartments, deliveries will be made to the communal area only. All deliveries are conducted by one-man teams.
Insurance and Responsibility
The driver is not insured for upstairs deliveries by The Bed Company. Payment to the driver via Delivery Terms and Conditions

Insurance and Responsibility
The driver is not insured for upstairs deliveries by The Bed Company. Payment to the driver via Fast Track Deliveries insures the driver only, not the goods (e.g., bed, mattress, photos, vases, light fixtures). Customers must inspect the product before payment, as we cannot accept liability once the driver has left the premises.
Assembly Services
Assembly charges vary by product:
- £40 – Divan bases
- £50 – Divan ottoman bases
- £40 – Frame beds
- £60 – Ottoman frame beds
- £50 – Ambassador beds (slats)
- £10 extra – Split headboards
Delivery Instructions
All deliveries must arrive at the warehouse before 8:00 PM. Products for return should be collected promptly. The company is not responsible for items damaged or lost after 14 days, after which they will be disposed of.
Driver Safety
Driver safety is our top priority. Deliveries to traveler sites will not be carried out under any circumstances.
Payment Policies
Customers who refuse to pay for the product upon delivery will result in the product being returned, if possible, and delivery charges will be billed to the sender. Accurate product postcodes and delivery notes are the responsibility of the sender.
Damaged Products
If a product is damaged by our courier team, we will provide free delivery as compensation. Replacement of damaged items is not covered.
Additional Charges
Full delivery charges apply once the product is loaded onto the van. No additional deliveries can be added after 12:00 PM on the day prior to delivery.
Accounts and Payments
All accounts must be cleared and collected every Monday after 4:00 PM. Prepaid deliveries must be paid in advance.
Invoices and Documentation
Always include invoices with the product for smooth delivery processing.
